In January 2017, we seeded the internet with nine seemingly random microsites — all with strange, rhyming names — to introduce Mailchimp to the world.

01Overview
At first they appeared to be small businesses doing random things, like selling bags of crushed potato chips. But as people dived deeper and googled the brands, their search returned: “Did you mean: Mailchimp?”
That’s because we wanted to show the world that with Mailchimp’s suite of software, you can turn your quirky ideas, however niche, into a real small business.

FailChip, JailBlimp, KaleLimp, MailShrimp, MaleCrimp, NailChamp, SnailPrimp, VeilHymn, WhaleSynth. They all sound like Mailchimp.
