Pie Tops

For March Madness 2017, Droga5 partnered with Pizza Hut to make 64 pairs of high tops that let's you order a pizza from the press of a button, we called it "Pie Tops."

The sneakers were hand stitched by the Shoe Surgeon. Similar to the Air Pump Jordans of the 90s, you can squeeze the tongue of the shoe for the magic to happen. We inserted a bluetooth button that can be paired to your mobile app, so that when you want some pizza, you can just press your shoe. The app geolocates you and delivers the pizza to your exact location.

Due to popular demands, we brought back Pie Tops for March Madness 2018, but this time, we made 250 pairs, 50 of which were sold.

In addition to just ordering pizza, we added a PAUSE function, so that if you’re watching Basketball and you get hungry, you can press your right shoe to order the pizza, and when the pizza arrives, you can press your left shoe to pause the TV. You'll never have to miss a moment of the action.

New to the Pie Tops II App, you can now track you order via the Hut Tracker. The PAUSE button requires no set up at all, the only requirement is to have DVR on a cable service.

The shoes come in Marinara Red or Wheat.
